Ministry of Industry (Thailand) : ウィキペディア英語版 | Ministry of Industry (Thailand) The Ministry of Industry of the Kingdom of Thailand ((タイ語:กระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม); ; Abrv: M-Industry) is a cabinet ministry in the Government of Thailand. The ministry is responsible for the promotion and regulation of industries. The ministry is headed by a Minister of Industry, currently Chakramon Phasukavanich (since August 2014). ==History== The Ministry of Industry started out in 1933 as a division or the Industrial Division ((タイ語:กองอุตสาหกรรม)) in the Department of Commerce ((タイ語:กรมพาณิชย์)) (now Ministry of Commerce) of the Ministry of Economics ((タイ語:กระทรวงเศรษฐกิจ)) (now defunct). In 1941 the division was upgraded to the Department of Industry (still in the Economic Ministry). On 5 May 1942 the Ministry of Industry was created in its own right.
